The courtyard garden expands through the wall into the foyer of the residence. Like branches from a tree the sculptural leaves made from polished cast iron grow along the wall. The light, the leaves, their reflections multiply the presences of the foilage into a lush naturalistic ambience. Shiny metal leaves entwine along the wall enriched by their light relfections and darker shadows. The nature scene is completed by butterflies that flutter between the exuberant leaves. The wall installation is inspired by Chinese Ink Painting of nature scenes that depict nature scenes of vegetation and live animal, composing with rich details and vacant spaces an exciting aesthetic.
